from atomicsloths: How to fix the game crash after about a minute of playtime
There's a bug with the version of OpenSSL in the build of UE4 used to make the game. If you are using a computer with a 10th, 11th, 12th, or newer gen Intel CPU you will have to do the following steps in order to play the game.
Open "Control Panel" by searching for it in Windows search bar, by pressing the Windows button or key.
Go to "System & Security"
Go to "System"
Press "Advanced system settings"
Press "Environmental Variables"
Create a new "System Variable" (NOT USER VARIABLE)
Enter the following into the Variable name box: OPENSSL_ia32cap
Enter the following into the Variable value box: ~0x20000000
Now press OK.
Alternatively, you can completely remove internet connection to also prevent the crash
I do wonder why the game needs to use OpenSSL when there are no obvious functions that need a network connection. Hopefully this can be fixed in the future as it does affect a large portion of users.
i did not mean half a year in my comment. i mean over a whole year. I just went back to see if you patched the krusty krab glitch but other than that glitch i forgot most maybe even everything about atcabb so i think me replaying on stream will be a perfect way to see reactions, memes, etc.
hi dave. In the summer i'm going to be streaming atcabb. I will have 4 streams. the first one will be for beating the game normally. the second stream will be for s-ranking all levels except for 1 level. The third stream will be a whole stream dedicated to the krusty krab level s-rank but if i beat that early in the stream i will go for some extra's. Last stream will be all extra's minigames, cheats. just 101%ing the game.
Hey Dave. atcabb is a great game in so many ways. but I spent several hours trying to s-rank Krusty krab. I just have one favor to ask for atcabb and that is to add the flying dutchman glitch back. Plus all the people that s-ranked all of atcabb had already used this glitch including myself before i starting a new game half a year later. So i'm begging you, padre, and all developers and people who helped create this awsome game to please add this glitch back. That's the one thing i hate about this update and that's all I want. i don't care about all those others patched glitches just please bring back this one glitch. please and thank you.
I don't plan on adding back this bug since The Krusty Krab was never intended to be easy to S-rank, it is supposed to be the hardest difficulty after all. If you wish to S-rank it the non legitimate way, you can just use cheat codes.

Unfortunately I can't upload a 32 bit build, it was abnormally buggy so I removed it from the game page a long time ago. I'm afraid most 32 bit PCs can't run the game at a reasonable framerate anyway, so I didn't find it necessary to keep the 32 build up. Sorry man!
Ya the bugs were so weird. I thought i got the 64-bit version but i didnt so when i got to sandys treemdome and the ice mounds werent loded i switched computers lol. It was necessary but sad
If you've downloaded it using the Itch app then check how much empty space you have on your computer, the Itch app will download the archive but not extract the files if you don't have enough free space. The game is pretty big but for some reason the extraction process requires a lot more space than the actual game takes, I can't remember exactly how much but I needed to free up more than 10 gigabytes of space to be able to extract it manually.

Hey Dave, Is the demo still available to play/install? or not? Because I saw Jay Play the demo and I wanted to know what the game looked like in the demo.
At the time of typing, I got 100% in everything, only entering the cheat codes after I've done LITERALLY EVERYTHING ELSE in the game. I wanted to see if the buttons worked, and they do, but now I wanna deactivate the "Unlock All X" cheats and therefore get rid of the giant red "CHEATER" note in the Trophies menu.
How is that done, exactly? Because I don't know where to start in the file directory. I'm not sure if it's even possible AT ALL, but help would still be appreciated.
Ah yeah, once you use a cheat code that unlocks something, it marks you as a cheater permanently unless you start a newgame. Only cosmetic cheats won't do that, like the swearing cheat. Only activate the actual cheats if you're planning on using them, otherwise there's no need to activate them. Unlocking them is perfectly safe though. Sorry if it wasn't clear in-game. D:
Well as I said: I've done literally everything else in the game before that. All extras manually gotten with a guide, all Aces manually, all collectibles manually, etc.
So FOR ME it's not too bad, since I can still keep my trophies due to already getting all of them legitimately. But you may still wanna put in an in-game disclaimer in case someone else may not pick up on that. Probably in the menu for the actual cheats (the one where you select them, not the place where you enter the code).
my friends and i have an issue, when we try to extract the game. At around 40% of the extraction process, an error pops up, saying that there isn't enough storage available for the game, which can't be true, since me and my friends all have more thanj enough space for the game on our computers. I wanted to ask you, if there is any solution to this problem.
I'm not Dave, but how much space do your computers have?
Even though the zipped game file is 2 GB, when fully extracted it's 14 GB. So i'm assuming your computer space is lower then 14. If it isn't then idk lol.

Everyone listen if the game keeps crashing without a crash report then disconnect your pc/laptop from the wifi and launch the game again, It should fix the problem.

cant get .rar files to work
Get winrar. Install it and extract it. Right click on the around the clock and press extract. Go into the folder and open the .exe
i cant download it on mac

Honestly the krusty krab s-rank was pretty easy. Took me one attempt but that m8ght have been luck or skill. Great game!

You need winrar or 7zip to unzip the .rar folder.

Are you getting any sort of crash report when the game crashes? If so, what does the error message say?
