Crystalized Contamination

Deep in the forest, a parasitic infection rose and spread throughout the land. A crystal-like parasite that attaches itself to its hosts and mutates them. Rainbowville, a place of peace where no one dares harm another, was unprepared for this horrific travesty and was ravaged within days.

You promised your friends you'd venture into New Dawn Forest alone to find the cure. Wherever it may be. Being a mystic and immune to the parasites, you go out in search of a way to stop this nightmare once and for all.

Death is not the end

• If you "die", you will discard your last physical form and return back to the start. With your magical abilities, you are able to astral project and return to where you last perished in spirit form, able to interact with anything in a small radius. Utilize this ability to monitor the enemy's position without the fear of being chased!

A bunker, once safe before

• This place holds the secret to ending this nightmare. You must explore the ruins of this bunker, ravaged by an infected that somehow found its way inside. They roam the halls of this place, searching for new victims...

Crystalized Contamination was a game made for the Jamsepticeye gamejam. The theme being "Death Is An Opportunity" was such a fun idea and I had a blast making this game. Inspired by all those MLP infection AUs, this gamejam gave me the opportunity to make something with the concept!
